Royal Jelly: Ancient Medicine

Modern medicine regards disease as  incurable. Often, the proposed cure causes more damage than the disease itself.  This has not always been the case. In ancient times numerous conditions were  regarded as curable, plus the cure was natural and relatively non-toxic. The  goal was always to cure disease. The fact is the ancients developed extensive  experience with natural substances known to cure disease. Royal jelly was one  of these substances.

God  almighty inspired humankind to understand the potency of beehive products.  The holy books, particularly the Qur’an and  Bible, contain numerous references-and reverences-regarding them. The Qur’an  glorifies the bee as one of God’s finest creations, indicating that this  creature works for the benefit of humankind. Obviously, the importance of the  productions of these creatures is far greater than is commonly realized. The  point is the original inspiration for the medicinal powers of honey came from  God himself.

Ancient records reveal that royal jelly  was used by the early Egyptians, but, certainly, numerous other earlier  civilizations used it. It was one of Cleopatra’s beauty secrets. Royal jelly  may have been one of the vitality factors accounting for the strength and  beauty of Egyptian royalty, including the Pharaoh’s. The ancient Greeks  consumed it to increase physical strength. Oriental rulers claimed that royal  jelly helped them live longer and remain sexually potent even in old age.

Ancient uses are of value, because they  provide information about potential cures. Many of today’s most popular drugs  were once used by various now defunct civilizations. In contrast to the  environment today the ancients had no vested interest. Medical monopolies  didn’t exist. If a substance worked, they used it. They were free to explore  the use of natural compounds, like royal jelly, for a wide range of illnesses.  Thus, they discovered valuable uses for natural compounds that even today’s  scientists have failed to discern. Imagine the power of combining the wisdom of  the ancients with the sophistication of modern science.  With royal jelly, that power is  available.  In addition to the knowledge  of past civilizations there exist modern scientific studies providing that  royal jelly is a curative substance.   Plus, there are hundreds of case histories of individuals who have  benefited greatly and in some instances have been cure through its powers.

Vital  substance

Royal jelly is a  source of dense nutrition reserved by the bees only for their queens. The  entire hive is dependent upon the queen; she lays up to 2,000 eggs daily, a  monumental task for such a tiny creature. Thus, she must receive intensive  nutritional support: amino acids, fatty acids, steroids, hormones, vitamins,  and minerals, all of which are provided by royal jelly. The queen lives up to six  years, while a worker bee lives six weeks.   This means that the queen lives over 35 times longer than her workers.  Both the queen and the workers, which are also females, begin as  identical bee eggs. Royal jelly is the only thing which makes the difference.  It induces a metamorphosis. What’s more, it is exclusively royal jelly that is  responsible for the queen’s unique physiology, long life, physical power, and  immense fertility.

It seems  incredible that this nutritionally rich substance can actually convert a simple  worker bee into a queen. Obviously, it is a magic elixir. No other substance is  capable of such a phenomenal biological transformation.

For humans, taking royal jelly is a  positive experience. If you take it regularly, expect to be transformed.

Only royal jelly  can transform a worker into a queen. Numerous attempts have been made to  synthesize it. The synthetic product, when fed to the bees, produces no  results; the bees usually die. Only bees can correctly compose it. Humans will  never be able to duplicate it.

Royal jelly is  synthesized by bees and, like honey, is completely edible. In fact, all of the  productions of bees are edible: propolis, royal jelly, bee pollen, and honey.  Even the wax is partially digestible. Bee products have been used as food, as  well as medicine, for thousands of years. They can be consumed in large  quantities safely and with numerous benefits. Modern humanity has yet to  utilize these products to their optimal potential. Royal jelly is perhaps the  least utilized of all of these products.          .

Some authors  have described royal jelly as "mysterious" or as a "gift fit for  royalty" or the "elite." There is nothing mysterious about royal  jelly. The fact is it is one of the most nutrient dense substances known. It is  completely pure and nutritious- and this is what largely accounts  for its medicinal powers. Royal jelly contains virtually everything the body  needs for optimal health as well as for combating disease. Rather than induce  some sort of unexplainable miracle, royal jelly aggressively nourishes cells,  helping them to rebuild themselves. Few if any other foods meet this  description.

The  apparently mysterious actions of royal jelly are readily explained by its  ingredients. For instance, it is one of the few hormone-rich foods. The  hormones it contains are completely safe to ingest. Hormones are known to exert  profound actions on human cells. It is listed as the richest source of certain  vitamins, notably pantothenic acid, riboflavin, and biotin. It is an excellent  source of amino acids, far superior to milk or eggs. Royal jelly is the only  significant source of acetylcholine, an important neurotransmitter.  Acetylcholine is needed for the transmission of nerve impulses throughout the  brain and spinal cord. It contains other rare substances, like immunoglobulins,  which are found in no other foods. A rare type of structural protein, a  collagen-like substance, is also found in it. The latter is thought to account  for its beautifying powers. The fact is no other substance matches its density  of cellular and bodybuilding components. This is why it can prove valuable for  virtually everyone, because there is no such thing as perfect health. A  universal tonic, like royal jelly, is likely to produce universal results, that  is health improvement in virtually anyone who tries it.

Powers of the hive

Bees  are among the most industrious of all creatures. They spend their entire lives  collecting plant compounds, many of which are in essence, potent medicines.  Plants are the original source of many of today’s most popular medicines.  Examples include aspirin, digitalis, penicillin, Taxol, and Nystatin. Bees make  plant concentrates. Thus, they produce concentrated medicines. These natural  medicines include honey, bee pollen, propolis, bee venom, and, of course, royal  jelly. All of the bee productions provide significant medicinal properties, a  fact which is easily proven both in human and test tube studies.

Regenerative factor

Rather  than thinking of royal jelly as a magic elixir or fountain of’ youth, let us  look at its value from a physiological viewpoint. Every day the human body  undergoes a variety of’ processes which are essential to its existence. Cells  die and are born. They become diseased or cured. They regenerate or decay. The  body is constantly attempting to rebuild itself,  to avoid the onset of disease, toxicity, and decay. Yet, it needs a wide range  of nutritive substances to do so. This is why royal jelly is so vital. With its  immense nutritional and biochemical profile, it aids in the natural  regenerative processes by supplying precisely what the body needs. Thus, it  helps the cells heal themselves.

Aging  is clearly associated with a decline in cellular nutrition. When the cells  become deficient in nutrients, they age rapidly. If they are well supplied with  all of the nutrients they need, they remain vital. Aging is also associated  with a decline in hormone levels. In fact, one of the signs of premature aging  is a decline in blood levels of adrenal steroids, like DHEA. A low DHEA level  is also associated with a high cancer risk. Royal jelly is the only nutritional  agent which supplies a high density of nutrients as well as safe and natural  hormones. Regular consumption boosts the cellular stores of critical nutrients  as well as hormones. This may account for its anti-aging actions, because the  cells must have nutrients and hormones to regenerate.

The  regenerative processes of the intestines illustrate how this works. Every day  billions of intestinal cells die. These cells must be replaced, otherwise  disease results. The body must independently procure the nutrients necessary to  rebuild these uncountable billions of cells. Procuring these nutrients is a  tedious process. Commercial foods are completely depleted,  so it is virtually impossible to induce  regeneration from these foods. In fact, processed foods induce degeneration.  Even chemical-free. farmed-raised. and organic foods fail to provide sufficient  density to induce regeneration. In all of these food sources nutrients exist in  relatively low density. This is why royal jelly is so valuable. It provides the  building blocks needed for reconstruction. This decreases the stress on the  digestive organs. The process of reconstruction now  becomes easier, because, when royal jelly is consumed, the necessary nutrients  are provided. Instead of the cells being forced to synthesize difficult to  produce substances like DNA and RNA. these substances are in essence "hand  delivered:’ The DNA and RNA are required for cellular repair and may largely  account for royal jelly’s anti-aging action. Yet, royal jelly does more: it induces the body to  produce its own genetic material. French researchers have proven that royal  jelly provokes the intracellular synthesis of DNA. This compound is the very  basis of life. This explains why researchers worldwide claim  that royal jelly revives the body when all other therapies fail.

Some  foods cause the body more work to digest than they are  nutritionally worth.   Thus, little nourishment is derived in the process. This is especially  true of processed and refined foods. Even when the processed foods are  synthetically fortified, they fail to provide the intense biological nutrition  that the body craves. Eventually, due to the inadequacy of the food, key nutrients  are depleted from the body, weakening the body’s resistance. Yet, if this state  of poor nutrition is perpetuated, tile health of future generations will also  be greatly weakened.

Focusing  on eating to live, Americans are overfed and undernourished. It is more  desirable to consume less food, while consuming mainly those which are nutrient  dense. These nutrient dense foods nourish and strengthen the body, never  depleting it. Thus, focusing on eating for life can radically improve life and add years of restful living to your life potential.  Royal jelly is perhaps the most nutrient dense and nutrient replenishing of all foods.
